Draftsman

Qualifications:

• Male and female applicants are welcome.
• Applicants must be not more than 40 years old.
• Must have 3–5 years of relevant work experience in drafting, construction, engineering, or a related field.
• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, technical diploma, or equivalent qualification in Drafting Technology, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Must hold a valid professional license, if applicable to the position and country of practice.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with other drafting or design software such as Revit, Civil 3D, or similar applications, depending on project requirements.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, architectural plans, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Must have a good understanding of drafting standards, drawing scales, dimensions, symbols, and construction details.
• Must possess strong technical, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting project deadlines.
• Must have good communication and coordination skills and be able to work with engineers, architects, and other project personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate technical drawings, plans, layouts, and construction details based on sketches, specifications, and instructions from engineers or architects.
• Develop and revise architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, or electrical drawings according to assigned project requirements.
• Use AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software to create, modify, and update technical drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, measurements, and compliance with project specifications.
• Incorporate design revisions, engineering changes, and site modifications into existing drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and project teams to clarify drawing requirements and resolve technical discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed drawings, sections, elevations, layouts, and as-built plans when required.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, technical documents, and project files.
• Ensure that all drawings follow applicable drafting standards, company procedures, and project requirements.
• Assist in preparing drawing packages and documentation for project submissions, approvals, and construction activities.
• Provide updated drawings to site personnel and ensure that the latest approved versions are available for implementation.
• Perform other drafting and technical documentation tasks as assigned.
