QA ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this position.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance (QA), quality management, or a related engineering field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification in a relevant technical field.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, quality management systems, and engineering standards.
• Experience in developing and implementing Quality Plans, Quality Procedures, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Knowledge of quality audits involving suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and project processes.
• Familiarity with quality documentation, document control, audit records, and compliance monitoring.
• Understanding of quality control activities, including physical inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and pressure testing during manufacturing, construction, and commissioning.
• Ability to review technical specifications, engineering drawings, inspection reports, and quality procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical reporting skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to identify process weaknesses, quality risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Good coordination and teamwork skills when working with project managers, engineers, inspectors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), procedures, and quality management documentation.
• Establish quality processes and preventive measures to ensure project activities comply with approved standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate audits of suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of quality management systems throughout project activities.
• Review quality procedures, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) personnel to ensure that inspection and testing activities are properly planned and documented.
• Monitor product and workmanship verification activities, including physical inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and pressure testing during manufacturing, construction, and commissioning.
• Identify process deficiencies, quality risks, and non-conformities, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Review non-conformance reports (NCRs), audit findings, corrective action reports, and other quality-related documentation.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure proper implementation and prevent recurring quality issues.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor performance based on established quality requirements.
• Prepare quality performance reports, audit summaries, and other documentation for project management.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Promote continuous improvement in project processes, quality performance, and compliance.
