MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Ability to prepare, read, and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
- Knowledge of applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and technical regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills when working with engineers, contractors, technicians, and other technical personnel.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy, quality, safety, and project specifications.
- Able to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary technical team.
- Willing to work in a professional industrial and engineering environment in Kuwait.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems, equipment, machinery, and related components according to project requirements.
- Prepare and review mechanical engineering drawings, layouts, technical specifications, calculations, and project documentation.
- Ensure mechanical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, codes, and regulations.
- Analyze mechanical systems and equipment to ensure proper performance, reliability, efficiency, and functionality.
- Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, suppliers, technicians, and technical teams during project implementation.
- Review project plans and specifications to identify mechanical requirements, potential issues, and necessary modifications.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Inspect mechanical installations to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct inspections, measurements, and performance evaluations of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Assist in planning preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Monitor the condition and performance of mechanical systems and recommend repairs, improvements, or replacements when necessary.
- Coordinate with site personnel and contractors to resolve technical and installation-related issues.
- Review technical documents, equipment specifications, material requirements, and supplier information.
- Assist in selecting appropriate mechanical materials, components, tools, and equipment for projects.
- Monitor project activities to help ensure completion within required schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, inspection reports, maintenance documentation, and other technical records.
- Identify opportunities to improve mechanical system efficiency, reliability, safety, and operating performance.
- Follow company procedures and applicable workplace health and safety requirements.
- Perform other mechanical engineering duties as assigned by management.
