Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Architecture, Urban Studies, or a similar field.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building layouts, floor plans, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to develop and interpret architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents.
  • Good understanding of building materials, finishes, construction methods, and architectural detailing.
  • Knowledge of project requirements, cost considerations, construction coordination, and quality standards.
  • Strong design, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills when working with clients, engineers, contractors, and other professionals.
  • Able to conduct site inspections and identify design or construction issues.
  • Organized and capable of managing architectural documents, revisions, and project requirements.
  • Able to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop architectural designs, layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and building concepts based on project requirements.
  • Prepare and review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Translate client requirements and project briefs into practical and functional architectural designs.
  • Assist in developing design concepts while considering functionality, aesthetics, safety, and project requirements.
  • Assist in selecting appropriate building materials, finishes, fixtures, and other architectural components.
  • Review project requirements, material specifications, and estimated project costs.
  • Coordinate architectural designs and drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering requirements.
  • Work closely with engineers, contractors, suppliers, clients, and other project professionals.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure work follows approved architectural plans and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to check project progress and identify design or construction concerns.
  • Identify discrepancies between approved plans and actual site conditions and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Assist in resolving architectural, design, material, and construction-related issues.
  • Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material samples, and other technical documents when required.
  • Make necessary revisions to architectural drawings and designs based on approved changes and project requirements.
  • Ensure that architectural work complies with applicable building requirements, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure architectural activities are completed according to the required schedule.
  • Monitor the quality of architectural work, finishes, and installations during construction.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, specifications, site observations, and project correspondence.
  • Assist in preparing project reports, progress updates, design presentations, and other architectural documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project teams regarding design requirements, revisions, and construction concerns.
  • Assist in reviewing project costs and identifying practical design or material alternatives when necessary.
  • Support project teams throughout the design, construction, and completion stages.
  • Perform other architectural and project-related duties assigned by management.
