MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Industrial Engineering or a similar field.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production methods, workflow analysis, and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of production efficiency, cost reduction, waste reduction, and quality improvement principles.
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing problems and develop practical and effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to evaluate production equipment, manufacturing methods, workflows, and operating procedures.
  • Good understanding of quality, safety, and performance standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills when working with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate technical and production documentation.
  • Able to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary manufacturing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase production efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze existing production methods, workflows, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and recommend efficient production methods, layouts, equipment, tools, and work processes.
  • Evaluate manufacturing equipment and production systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce production costs, material waste, downtime, and unnecessary process steps.
  • Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to achieve required output and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements while minimizing disruption to ongoing production.
  • Coordinate with production personnel to ensure manufacturing processes are followed correctly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with quality teams to identify and resolve product and process quality issues.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing problems.
  • Investigate production delays, defects, equipment failures, and other manufacturing issues to determine root causes.
  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions for recurring production and process problems.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing records.
  • Analyze production data and performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor key production metrics related to productivity, efficiency, quality, waste, and downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing performance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with established safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of new production processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
  • Coordinate with engineering and technical teams during equipment installation, testing, modification, and commissioning.
  • Train or assist production personnel in improved processes, procedures, equipment use, and work methods when required.
  • Maintain accurate technical, production, and process improvement records.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure manufacturing activities comply with company safety procedures.
  • Perform other manufacturing engineering and process improvement duties assigned by management.
