MACHINE OPERATOR (Paper Cup Forming)

Qualifications:

• At least a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience; 2–3 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred.
• Previous experience operating production or packaging machinery.
• Ability to set up, operate, monitor, and perform basic adjustments to production machines.
• Experience handling paper rolls or similar manufacturing materials is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic production and quality-control procedures.
• Ability to inspect products and identify defects such as leaks, improper forming, or damaged materials.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent product quality.
• Ability to follow machine operating instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of performing machine-loading and production-related duties.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machines according to established operating procedures.
• Load rolls of bottom and sidewall paper onto the machine correctly and safely.
• Ensure paper materials are properly positioned and aligned before and during machine operation.
• Monitor machine performance and production output throughout the manufacturing process.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain proper production quality and efficiency.
• Inspect paper cups for proper formation, size, shape, and overall appearance.
• Periodically test samples of finished cups for leaks and other quality defects.
• Identify defective cups and separate products that do not meet required quality standards.
• Conduct routine quality checks during production and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Place the specified number of cups into tubes in preparation for packing.
• Ensure cups are properly counted, arranged, and packed according to production requirements.
• Monitor the supply of paper rolls and other production materials and report shortages when necessary.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance to keep equipment in proper working condition.
• Report machine malfunctions, unusual noises, production problems, or equipment defects to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Follow production schedules and maintain required production targets.
• Minimize material waste by following proper machine settings and handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe machine operating area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle raw materials and finished products carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
• Record production quantities, quality inspection results, and other required information accurately.
• Coordinate with other production and packing personnel to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Perform other machine operation, production, and packing duties as assigned by management.
