PPF Installer (PPF Technician)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation.
  • Strong knowledge of leading PPF brands such as XPEL, SunTek, Avery Dennison, or similar products.
  • Experience working on luxury, premium, and high-end vehicles.
  • Excellent skills in film cutting, stretching, alignment, and finishing.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a professional automotive detailing team.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced automotive service environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) on vehicle body panels, bumpers, mirrors, hoods, fenders, and other exterior surfaces.
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, decontaminating, and ensuring proper adhesion before film installation.
  • Measure, trim, align, and apply PPF accurately to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Remove air bubbles, wrinkles, and imperfections using appropriate installation techniques and tools.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure quality, durability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle partial and full-body PPF installations according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain and care for installation tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Follow company quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete projects within scheduled timelines.
  • Stay updated on new PPF products, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
