Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in joinery work, including fabrication, installation, and repair.
- Strong background in woodworking, fabrication, assembly, and finishing with exceptional attention to detail.
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction specifications.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Knowledge of woodworking materials, joinery techniques, and finishing methods.
- Strong commitment to producing high-quality workmanship and maintaining safety standards.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work in workshop and construction environments.
- Applicants must be 35 years old or below.
- Willing to take the IELTS examination if successful in the employer’s online interview.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair wooden structures, furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, staircases, partitions, and other joinery products.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately complete joinery projects.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other construction materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Install finished joinery products on-site, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and finish.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and maintenance on existing wooden fixtures and structures.
- Operate woodworking equipment safely, including saws, planers, routers, sanders, drills, and other fabrication machinery.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following occupational health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with supervisors, site managers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Estimate material requirements and minimize waste during fabrication and installation.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and woodworking equipment.
- Carry out other joinery and carpentry duties assigned by management.
