Aureol Global Connections is seeking experienced Floor Sanders to join a professional flooring team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for sanding, refinishing, repairing, and restoring residential and commercial wooden floors to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and experience using professional floor sanding equipment and finishing systems.

FLOOR SANDER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in wood floor sanding and finishing.
• Proven experience sanding, repairing, and restoring:
  • Solid wood flooring
  • Engineered wood flooring
  • Parquet flooring
  • Herringbone flooring
• Skilled in applying stains, oils, lacquers, and other wood finishing products.
• Hands-on experience using professional sanding equipment and floor finishing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• A full clean driving license is preferred.
• Willing to work in Ireland and meet the employer’s deployment requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Sand, refinish, and restore residential and commercial wooden flooring.
• Prepare floors by repairing damaged areas and ensuring surfaces are ready for finishing.
• Apply stains, oils, lacquers, varnishes, and other protective finishes according to project specifications.
• Restore solid wood, engineered wood, parquet, and herringbone flooring to a high-quality finish.
• Operate and maintain professional floor sanding machines, edging tools, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Communicate professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service throughout each project.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures while handling equipment, finishes, and other materials.
• Work independently or collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Perform other flooring installation, restoration, and finishing duties as assigned.
