We are seeking experienced Wood Flooring Carpenters to join a reputable employer in Ireland. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation, repair, restoration, and refurbishment of wooden flooring, delivering high-quality workmanship on residential and commercial projects.
Wood Flooring Carpenter
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a 2nd Fix Carpenter, specializing in wood flooring installation
- Proven experience in the repair, restoration, and refurbishment of existing wooden floors
- Skilled in installing various types of wood flooring, including parquet and wood block flooring
- Experience in sanding, sealing, and finishing wooden floors
- Good English communication skills are essential
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Install a variety of wood flooring systems, including solid wood, engineered wood, parquet, and custom flooring
- Perform sanding, sealing, staining, and finishing of wooden floors to achieve high-quality results
- Carry out repair, restoration, and refurbishment of damaged or worn wooden flooring
- Install bespoke parquetry, wood block, and other custom-designed flooring systems
- Read and interpret project plans and installation specifications
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
