Manpower Resources of Asia, Inc. is seeking experienced Instrument Technicians – Topside for the Osman Gazi Project bound for Filyos Port, Turkey. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting instrumentation systems while ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with strict HSE requirements
INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN (TOPSIDE)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician – Topside.
- Strong professional background in instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with industrial instrumentation and control systems.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems, including SAP, Maximo, Datastream, or similar platforms.
- Experience in offshore or Oil & Gas environments is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of preventive and corrective instrumentation maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose instrumentation faults effectively.
- Strong commitment to HSE standards and safe work practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, technicians, operations personnel, and other project teams
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on topside instrumentation systems and equipment.
- Inspect, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation equipment.
- Diagnose instrumentation faults and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot control, measurement, monitoring, and instrumentation systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment abnormalities and potential failures.
- Perform functional testing and verification of instruments after maintenance or repair.
- Use appropriate test instruments, tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly.
- Record maintenance activities, inspections, faults, repairs, and equipment status accurately.
- Use CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, Datastream, or similar platforms to manage maintenance work orders and records.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and approved maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, operations personnel, and other maintenance teams.
- Support equipment commissioning, shutdown, inspection, and maintenance activities when required.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, technical procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Maintain tools, instruments, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition.
- Identify and report equipment defects, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and safe work practices.
- Participate in emergency, shutdown, or other project maintenance activities as required.
