Almarjan Alhaditha Company For Contracting is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC / AC Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and air-quality control systems in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate should have hands-on experience with HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, refrigeration systems, and mechanical plant operations, along with the ability to support basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.

HVAC / AC Technician

Qualifications:

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• At least 3 years of HVAC and/or refrigeration experience.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing HVAC, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Experience working with boilers, chillers, and mechanical plant operations.
• EPA Universal Certification and HVAC Certification required.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls, refrigeration systems, mechanical components, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems using appropriate testing and diagnostic instruments.
• Knowledge of safe refrigerant handling and hazardous material procedures.
• Ability to support basic electrical and plumbing repairs related to building maintenance.
• Knowledge or experience in pool/spa maintenance and basic water chemistry testing is an advantage.
• Ability to monitor equipment performance and maintain accurate daily maintenance and energy usage logs.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with loads exceeding 100 lbs.
• Able to work in mechanical rooms, plant areas, outdoor environments, and other demanding work conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and committed to quality maintenance work.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and air-conditioning systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Maintain and service boilers, chillers, refrigeration systems, and associated mechanical plant equipment.
• Diagnose HVAC and refrigeration system faults and determine appropriate repair requirements.
• Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, motors, fans, valves, controls, and other HVAC components.
• Check refrigerant levels, system pressures, temperatures, airflow, and operating conditions.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and handling in accordance with applicable safety procedures.
• Test HVAC systems after installation, maintenance, or repair to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor air quality control equipment and identify conditions that may affect indoor air quality.
• Perform routine inspections of mechanical plant rooms and HVAC equipment.
• Assist with pool and spa maintenance, including basic water chemistry testing and monitoring.
• Conduct water chemistry checks and report abnormal readings or maintenance requirements.
• Support basic electrical troubleshooting and repair related to HVAC and building systems.
• Assist with minor plumbing repairs and maintenance when required.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential mechanical problems before breakdowns occur.
• Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency.
• Maintain daily maintenance, equipment performance, energy usage, and service logs.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, replacement parts, refrigerants, and maintenance activities.
• Properly use HVAC tools, testing instruments, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance machinery.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
• Follow proper procedures for handling refrigerants, chemicals, cleaning agents, and other hazardous materials.
• Observe workplace health and safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain clean and organized mechanical rooms, workshops, and work areas.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel, contractors, and other trades to complete assigned work.
• Respond to HVAC and mechanical maintenance requests and complete repairs within required schedules.
• Perform other HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, pool/spa, and general maintenance duties as assigned by management.
