FOOD AND BEVERAGE STAFF

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Experience in the hotel industry is highly desirable.
• Training certificate is highly desirable but not required.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and the assigned area of deployment.
• Proven practical knowledge of food and beverage service and customer handling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, courteous, professional, and customer-oriented personality.
• Ability to take and process customer orders accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel, restaurant, or food and beverage environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
• Knowledge of basic food hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff, waitstaff, supervisors, and other hotel personnel.
• Reliable, hardworking, flexible, and willing to follow hotel policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous, and professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the appropriate service or kitchen staff.
• Process customer orders efficiently and ensure that the correct items are served.
• Serve food and beverages according to established hotel and restaurant service standards.
• Prepare tables, dining areas, service stations, and other assigned areas before service.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables after customers finish their meals.
• Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about available food and beverage options.
• Respond politely and professionally to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
• Monitor assigned dining areas and provide attentive and timely service to customers.
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and overall service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and other food and beverage personnel to ensure orders are prepared and served promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of dining areas, service stations, utensils, equipment, and work areas.
• Replenish cutlery, glassware, napkins, condiments, beverages, and other service supplies as required.
• Assist with setting up dining areas for regular service, functions, events, and special occasions.
• Handle customer bills and payments according to established hotel procedures when required.
• Assist in addressing customer complaints and refer complex concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ensure food and beverages are handled, stored, and served safely.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparation of service areas.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests.
• Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, kitchen, and other hotel departments when necessary.
• Perform other food and beverage service duties assigned by hotel management.
