GROUP EXPORT & IMPORT MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in international trade, export/import operations, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing international logistics, procurement, and supply chain activities.
• Experience in commodity exports, particularly coffee or agricultural products, is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Experience in managing freight forwarding, shipping, and customs clearance processes.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in trade documentation, contracts, and import/export compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all export and import operations across the organization.
• Coordinate international logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance activities.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Manage procurement and supply chain processes related to import and export operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international partners.
• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve logistics or customs-related issues.
• Prepare and review import/export documentation, contracts, and shipping records.
• Analyze trade costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Oversee commodity export operations, including agricultural and coffee export activities where applicable.
• Manage inventory flow related to international trade and supply chain operations.
• Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and supervise trade, logistics, and procurement teams to achieve business objectives.
• Support business growth by identifying new international trade opportunities and market expansion initiatives.
