PROJECT ENGINEER (ARCHITECTURAL)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 12–15 years of progressive experience in architectural engineering within the construction industry.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use construction projects.
• Extensive hands-on experience with façade systems, interior finishes, joinery, cladding, and high-end architectural finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, AutoCAD, Revit/BIM models, construction specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficient in project planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent software.
• Familiar with construction management ERP systems and digital project management platforms.
• Solid understanding of construction contracts, quality standards, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Experience in material specifications, architectural detailing, quality control, and project handover procedures.
• Professional Architect license or equivalent certification is preferred; PMP certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Strong leadership, technical problem-solving, communication, organizational, and risk management skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate architectural construction activities including masonry, plastering, tiling, cladding, façade systems, ceiling installations, joinery, painting, and finishing works for large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate implementation and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, work plans, and technical documentation for architectural construction activities.
• Monitor and inspect architectural works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical engineers, interior designers, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural works with other disciplines.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, material logs, technical documentation, and project updates for management and clients.
• Conduct site measurements, dimensional verification, and material reconciliation to support procurement, cost control, and project planning.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and construction challenges in coordination with consultants and project management.
• Review and support the preparation of shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, as-built drawings, and project documentation for client and consultant approval.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations while promoting safe construction practices throughout project execution.
• Participate in project meetings, site inspections, and coordination sessions with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Assist in planning and scheduling architectural construction activities using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project management software.
• Support quality assurance processes including material testing, mock-up approvals, final inspections, snagging, and project handover to ensure all deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
