Assential Resources Pte. Ltd. is seeking qualified and technically skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to support aircraft maintenance, inspection, repair, and servicing operations in Singapore. The successful candidates will work on aircraft systems and components, perform maintenance tasks according to technical procedures, assist with inspections and troubleshooting, and ensure that all work is completed safely and in accordance with aviation maintenance standards.
Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Aviation Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection, or servicing.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, including engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and understand aircraft maintenance manuals, technical documents, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of basic aircraft maintenance procedures, inspection practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Possession of an Aircraft Maintenance Technician License or relevant aviation certification is an advantage.
- Ability to safely use aircraft maintenance tools, testing equipment, and ground support equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to aircraft safety and maintenance quality.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on aircraft maintenance work.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with aircraft engineers, technicians, inspectors, and other maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspection, servicing, and repair tasks.
- Inspect aircraft structures, systems, components, and equipment for defects, damage, wear, or other abnormalities.
- Assist with troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other technical problems.
- Perform maintenance work on aircraft engines and related components according to approved procedures.
- Inspect and service aircraft electrical systems, hydraulic systems, mechanical components, and associated equipment.
- Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall defective or serviceable aircraft components as instructed.
- Use aircraft maintenance tools, ground support equipment, testing instruments, and specialized equipment safely and correctly.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical publications, work instructions, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Perform functional checks and operational tests following maintenance activities.
- Ensure all maintenance work is properly documented and recorded in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, component replacements, and maintenance activities.
- Follow approved maintenance procedures, technical specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Comply with aviation regulations, workplace safety procedures, and aircraft maintenance practices.
- Assist licensed engineers or senior maintenance personnel during inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and major maintenance activities.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained, clean, and organized.
- Conduct proper tool control and ensure foreign object debris (FOD) prevention procedures are followed.
- Report aircraft defects, safety concerns, equipment problems, and maintenance findings to supervisors or authorized personnel.
- Coordinate with other technicians, engineers, inspectors, and maintenance teams to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a strong focus on aircraft safety, reliability, airworthiness, and quality workmanship.
- Perform other aircraft maintenance duties assigned by authorized supervisors or maintenance management.
