BUILDING CLEANER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as a cleaner or in a similar cleaning position.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Female applicants are preferred for this position.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Ability to properly use common cleaning tools, equipment, and cleaning products.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules, instructions, and workplace procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Good personal hygiene and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
• Able to work independently and as part of a cleaning or maintenance team.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned buildings and facilities.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, windows, furniture, fixtures, doors, and other surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
• Clean common areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, stairways, entrances, and other assigned areas.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces to maintain proper hygiene and sanitation.
• Clean windows, glass panels, mirrors, doors, and other visible surfaces.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage properly in designated areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Refill toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other necessary supplies.
• Restock cleaning products, paper products, sanitation materials, and other facility supplies as needed.
• Monitor the inventory of cleaning materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies in clean and good working condition.
• Report damaged fixtures, spills, maintenance problems, safety hazards, or other building concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within the required time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow workplace health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor or employer.
• Maintain professional conduct and respect building occupants, visitors, and other staff members.
