Qatar Engineering & Construction Company W.L.L (QCON) is seeking a General Service Foreman to lead and supervise field operations in the petrochemical, refinery, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, technical knowledge, and expertise in facility management, maintenance, and industrial operations.

General Service Foreman

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate, with the ability to read and write in English.
  • Proven experience as a General Service Foreman in oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial facilities.
  • Strong experience in facility management, building maintenance, and industrial operations is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills for managing manpower and contractors.
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and oil and gas safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and project specifications.
  • Experience in maintenance, shutdown/turnaround activities, mechanical, piping, or construction works within industrial facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily field activities, manpower, and contractors.
  • Oversee maintenance, shutdown/turnaround, mechanical, piping, and construction works.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and oil and gas safety standards.
  • Read, interpret, and act upon technical drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and project specifications.
  • Monitor work progress, quality, and performance of team members and subcontractors.
  • Assist in planning and executing facility management and building maintenance tasks.
  • Report to project management and ensure efficient communication across teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, safety programs, and operational efficiency.
