Job Vacancy: MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Jana International Trading LLC is seeking a qualified Mechanical Technician to perform installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and mechanical systems, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations and minimal equipment downtime.
MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing company, paper products industry, or a related field.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, pumps, and production equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and equipment specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Technical diploma, vocational certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Technology or a related field is an advantage.
- Good understanding of workplace safety and maintenance best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults to minimize production downtime.
- Install, assemble, and test mechanical components and equipment as required.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Repair and replace defective mechanical parts, bearings, belts, gears, pumps, valves, and other components.
- Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in proper working condition.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities according to scheduled plans.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
