MEDICA FILTER spol. s r.o. is seeking qualified and experienced Cutters to join its manufacturing team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for cutting textile materials using fabric laying machines, Lay End Cutting Machines, and manual or automated saws. The position requires precision, good manual dexterity, the ability to read technical documentation and cutting plans, and experience in textile manufacturing and/or medical device production.

Cutter

Qualifications:

• Male, 25–40 years old.
• At least High School or Vocational Graduate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a fabric laying machine, Lay End Cutting Machine, and/or manual and automated saws for cutting textile materials.
• Experience working in the manufacturing of medical devices and/or cutting textile materials.
• Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
• Capable of accurately measuring and performing layout cuts.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, cutting plans, and production specifications.
• Knowledge of textile cutting processes, machine operation, and material handling.
• Ability to work accurately and consistently while meeting production requirements.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on manufacturing work for extended periods.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate fabric laying machines, including Lay End Cutting Machines, to prepare and cut textile materials.
• Operate manual and automated saws used for cutting textile and related materials.
• Accurately measure and mark materials according to cutting plans and production specifications.
• Set up and position textile materials properly before cutting operations.
• Measure and execute layout cuts accurately to minimize material waste.
• Read and interpret technical documentation, cutting plans, drawings, and production specifications.
• Follow specified dimensions, tolerances, cutting patterns, and production requirements.
• Inspect materials before cutting to identify defects, irregularities, or unsuitable sections.
• Ensure cut materials meet required dimensions, quality standards, and production specifications.
• Label, organize, and transfer cut materials to the appropriate production area.
• Maintain accurate records of cutting activities and material usage when required.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and checks to ensure accurate and consistent cutting.
• Monitor cutting equipment for abnormal operation, wear, or technical problems.
• Report equipment problems, material defects, production issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain cutting machines, tools, and workstations in clean and safe working condition.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures and quality control requirements.
• Observe proper workplace safety procedures when operating cutting machinery and handling materials.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Handle textile materials carefully to prevent contamination, damage, or unnecessary waste.
• Coordinate with production personnel to ensure a smooth and continuous manufacturing process.
• Perform other cutting and production-related duties assigned by management.
