Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Hydro Supervisor to oversee hydrostatic testing and pre-commissioning activities for piping systems on major engineering and construction projects in Mozambique.

The Hydro Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate execution of hydrotesting activities while coordinating with various project teams and client representatives.

HYDRO SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in hydrotesting, piping, pre-commissioning, or related construction activities.
• Experience in oil and gas, industrial, power, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hydrostatic testing procedures, piping systems, test packages, and commissioning activities.
• Ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Good coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with project safety standards and quality requirements.
• Willing to work on project sites in Mozambique.
• No minimum educational attainment required.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise hydrostatic testing, flushing, cleaning, drying, reinstatement, and pre-commissioning activities for piping systems.
• Review and verify test packages, piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, test limits, and project specifications before test execution.
• Plan and coordinate hydrotesting activities, including manpower, equipment, materials, and work schedules.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, commissioning, engineering, operations teams, and client representatives to ensure smooth execution of testing activities.
• Monitor pressure testing procedures and ensure compliance with approved method statements, safety requirements, and project standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during testing activities and report progress to project management.
• Ensure proper documentation of test results, inspection records, punch lists, and completion reports.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Supervise hydrotesting teams and ensure proper handling and use of tools and testing equipment.
