BABYSITTER

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be at least 24 years old.
  • Female applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Must know how to properly care for newborns and babies.
  • Must be able to understand and speak English.
  • Must have a patient, caring, and responsible attitude toward young children.
  • Must be capable of handling a multitasking job and managing several childcare responsibilities efficiently.
  • Must be attentive and able to closely monitor the baby’s safety, comfort, and daily needs.
  • Must maintain good personal hygiene and proper cleanliness when caring for newborns and babies.
  • Must be willing to follow the parents’ instructions and household childcare routines.
  • Must be trustworthy, dependable, hardworking, and respectful of the employer’s family and privacy.
  • Must be physically and emotionally capable of performing routine childcare duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and responsible care for newborns and babies.
  • Ensure the baby’s safety and comfort at all times.
  • Assist with feeding, burping, and maintaining appropriate feeding schedules as instructed.
  • Prepare and handle baby bottles, feeding materials, and other baby-care items properly.
  • Change diapers regularly and maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Bathe and groom the baby according to the family’s instructions and routine.
  • Prepare and maintain clean clothing, bedding, towels, and other baby essentials.
  • Comfort and soothe babies when they are crying, uncomfortable, or having difficulty sleeping.
  • Establish and follow the baby’s daily routine, including feeding, sleeping, bathing, and playtime.
  • Supervise the baby closely and never leave the child unattended in unsafe situations.
  • Assist with age-appropriate play and activities that encourage the baby’s development.
  • Keep the baby’s room, play area, and belongings clean, organized, and safe.
  • Wash and sanitize baby bottles, utensils, toys, and other baby-care equipment as required.
  • Observe the baby’s behavior and condition and promptly inform the employer of any unusual signs or concerns.
  • Follow the parents’ instructions regarding childcare routines, feeding, sleeping, hygiene, and other baby-care requirements.
  • Maintain patience and a calm attitude when handling babies and managing demanding situations.
  • Communicate clearly with the employer regarding the baby’s needs, routine, and daily activities.
  • Assist with other reasonable childcare and household duties related to the care of the baby as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy, rules, and routines of the employer’s household.
  • Perform other babysitting and childcare duties as reasonably required by the employer.
