Motor Vehicle Parts Supervisor

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in motor vehicle parts management, automotive inventory, or a related field.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Able to provide employment documents and credentials.
• Willing to work overseas in Vanuatu.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, components, part numbers, and vehicle specifications.
• Familiarity with inventory control, stock monitoring, and parts ordering procedures.
• Good organizational, supervisory, and recordkeeping skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with mechanics, suppliers, and other departments.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the motor vehicle parts department.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of commonly required automotive parts and accessories.
• Identify, classify, and organize vehicle parts according to part numbers, specifications, and vehicle models.
• Coordinate the ordering, receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of automotive parts.
• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with mechanics, technicians, suppliers, and purchasing personnel regarding parts requirements.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, or frequently requested parts and prepare related reports.
• Ensure that the correct parts are supplied for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and parts availability.
• Supervise parts department personnel and assign daily tasks as necessary.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, security, and handling of automotive parts.
• Prepare inventory reports and recommend improvements to parts management procedures.
