Auto Mechanic and Maintenance

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in automotive mechanics, vehicle maintenance, or a related field.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Able to provide employment documents and credentials.
• Willing to work overseas in Vanuatu.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with automotive tools, workshop equipment, and diagnostic procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical faults and maintenance requirements.
• Diagnose engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, and other vehicle system problems.
• Perform routine vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical components and worn-out parts.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to improve vehicle reliability and safety.
• Check vehicle batteries, cooling systems, tires, and other essential components.
• Use appropriate diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and hand tools.
• Conduct vehicle tests after repairs to verify proper operation.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and proper handling practices for tools and equipment.
• Report major mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacement parts.
