Job Location: Mozambique
Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical construction and maintenance activities for major engineering and construction projects in Mozambique.
The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for managing site mechanical works, ensuring proper installation, quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion of assigned activities in accordance with project requirements.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role in construction, industrial, oil and gas, power, or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering (Mechanical) or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment installation, piping, pumps, compressors, tanks, valves, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
- Experience in supervising mechanical teams and coordinating with multiple project disciplines.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with construction quality standards and safety procedures.
- Willing to work on project sites in Mozambique.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily mechanical construction and maintenance activities at the project site.
- Monitor the installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of pumps, compressors, piping systems, tanks, valves, rotating equipment, and other mechanical systems.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and work procedures to ensure proper execution of site activities.
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for mechanical works.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project quality standards and approved procedures.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions to prevent delays.
- Ensure mechanical installations are completed according to project schedules, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Prepare progress reports, work updates, and documentation related to mechanical activities.
- Promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and safe working practices.
