Finishing Carpenters (Furniture Experience)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter with a strong background in furniture fabrication and installation.
- Skilled in woodworking, furniture assembly, and interior finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
- Proficiency in using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in a workshop or construction environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and finish custom furniture, cabinets, and other interior woodwork.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and furniture design specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials with precision.
- Install finished carpentry components, including trim, moldings, doors, shelving, and built-in furniture.
- Sand, stain, varnish, laminate, and apply other finishing materials to achieve high-quality results.
- Operate woodworking machines, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following workplace safety procedures.
