RUSWIN is seeking an experienced Electronics Supervisor to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and servicing of electronic security systems in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will supervise technical teams, coordinate projects, and ensure the reliable operation of CCTV, access control, alarm, and integrated security systems while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in electronic security systems, networking fundamentals, and team leadership, with a passion for mentoring and developing technicians.
Electronics Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in electronic security systems or a related field.
- Must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Supervisory experience leading technical teams.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to obtain a Papua New Guinea driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, switches, and network connectivity.
- Ability to diagnose faults and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with the following systems is highly desirable:
- Access Control: Gallagher, HID
- IP CCTV: Genetec, Geutebruck, Avigilon, Axis, Hanwha
- Experience in security systems integration with IT infrastructure is an advantage.
- Project implementation and maintenance experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead technicians in the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems.
- Oversee the installation and servicing of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot IP-based security systems and network-connected devices.
- Diagnose system faults and perform corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
- Coordinate daily work schedules, project activities, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure security systems are properly integrated with broader IT infrastructure where required.
- Perform quality inspections and verify that installations comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members to support their professional development.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and company procedures.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
