Peloton Workready Pty. Ltd is seeking experienced Boilermakers (MIG Welders) for opportunities with established Australian employers. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating, welding, assembling, and repairing steel structures, pipework, and metal components while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and workplace safety.

BOILERMAKER (Mig Welder)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Boilermaker, Fabricator, Welder, or Pipe Welder.
• Strong skills in MIG welding.
• Experience working with steel pipework is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, pipe fitting symbols, and technical diagrams.
• Demonstrated ability to fabricate, measure, cut, prepare, and assemble steel pipework and fittings.
• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality fabrication and welding work.
• Experience with fire sprinkler systems or mechanical pipework is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and quality requirements.
• Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly of steel structures, pipework, and metal components.
• Fabricate, measure, cut, prepare, and assemble steel pipes, fittings, and related components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, piping drawings, fabrication plans, and welding specifications.
• Perform pipe fitting and welding tasks according to project requirements and industry standards.
• Use workshop machinery, welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments safely.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Repair, modify, and maintain fabricated metal structures and pipe systems as required.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures, quality standards, and employer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other fabrication and welding duties as assigned by the employer.
