Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional welding experience.
- Completed compulsory education as a Welder or equivalent vocational welding training.
- Applicants must be between 25 and 50 years old.
- Proficient in MIG, MAG, and TIG welding techniques.
- Strong ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal materials.
- Skilled in using welding machines, grinders, measuring instruments, and fabrication tools.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures, quality standards, and inspection methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Physically fit and medically fit to perform welding and fabrication work.
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, MAG, and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal materials.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
- Prepare metal components by measuring, cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting materials prior to welding.
- Set up and operate welding machines, torches, and related fabrication equipment.
- Weld structural components, fabricated parts, frames, pipes, tanks, and other assemblies according to project requirements.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform finishing work, including grinding, polishing, and correcting welding defects when necessary.
- Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding equipment.
- Follow approved welding procedures and comply with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, fabricators, and quality inspectors to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other welding and fabrication duties assigned by management.
