Qualifications:
- Male applicants, 24β45 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Scaffolder.
- Practical experience in scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling.
- Knowledge of different scaffolding components, systems, fittings, braces, platforms, and safety equipment.
- Ability to assemble and secure scaffolding structures according to instructions and site requirements.
- Good understanding of working-at-height safety procedures and fall-protection practices.
- Ability to safely handle, carry, lift, and position scaffold components and materials.
- Competent in the safe use of scaffolding tools, hand tools, and related equipment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual work at construction and industrial sites.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various outdoor and construction-site conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to scaffold stability and worker safety.
- Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and erect scaffolding systems according to approved plans, specifications, and site requirements.
- Install scaffolding structures for construction, maintenance, repair, painting, and other work at elevated locations.
- Select and prepare appropriate scaffold components, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Inspect scaffolding components before use to identify damage, defects, or missing parts.
- Ensure scaffolding is properly secured, braced, leveled, aligned, and supported.
- Install platforms, guardrails, toe boards, ladders, access points, and other required safety components.
- Modify and adjust existing scaffolding according to changing project requirements.
- Dismantle scaffolding safely after work is completed or when it is no longer required.
- Follow proper procedures for lifting, handling, transporting, and storing scaffold materials.
- Ensure scaffolding structures are stable and capable of safely supporting workers, tools, and permitted loads.
- Perform routine visual inspections and report unsafe conditions or damaged components to supervisors.
- Maintain safe access and working platforms for construction and maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, welders, painters, construction workers, and other trades working on scaffolds.
- Follow site-specific scaffold erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling procedures.
- Use scaffold tools, lifting equipment, hand tools, and related equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain clean and organized scaffold work areas and storage locations.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations and working-at-height requirements.
- Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), including fall-protection equipment when required.
- Prevent unauthorized use of incomplete, damaged, or unsafe scaffolding.
- Report accidents, hazards, damaged components, and unsafe working conditions to supervisors immediately.
- Assist in maintaining an adequate supply and proper storage of scaffold materials and equipment.
- Perform other scaffolding, construction, and site-support duties as assigned.
