Adecco Slovenia is seeking qualified and experienced Manual and Machine Stone Processing Workers to work in Slovenia. The successful candidates will be responsible for processing and finishing natural and engineered stone materials, including marble, quartz, granite, and large-format ceramics. The role involves manual edge processing, grinding, polishing, and specialized stone finishing for countertops, window sills, stairs, and other products while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• At least secondary/high school education is preferred.
• Proven experience in stone processing, construction, or similar manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Experience in the production and processing of natural stone such as marble, quartz, and granite, engineered stone, or large-format ceramics.
• Experience in manual edge processing, including grinding, polishing, and 45-degree edge bonding.
• Experience processing stone edges for window sills, kitchen and bathroom countertops, stairs, or similar products.
• Experience with machine processing and polishing lines, such as Comandulli, is an advantage.
• Category B driver’s license is preferred.
• Forklift license is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in measuring, processing, grinding, and finishing stone products.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work involving standing, lifting, and handling stone materials.
• Ability to safely operate tools, machinery, and stone-processing equipment.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a production team.

Responsibilities:

• Process and finish natural stone materials such as marble, quartz, and granite, as well as engineered stone and large-format ceramics.
• Perform manual edge processing, including grinding, polishing, and 45-degree edge bonding.
• Process and finish stone edges for window sills, kitchen and bathroom countertops, stairs, and similar products.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, grind, and polish stone materials according to required dimensions and specifications.
• Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and stone-processing equipment safely and correctly.
• Operate machine processing and polishing lines, including equipment such as Comandulli, where applicable.
• Prepare stone surfaces and edges to achieve the required smoothness, finish, and appearance.
• Inspect processed stone products for dimensions, edge quality, surface finish, and overall workmanship.
• Identify defects, irregularities, or processing problems and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
• Follow technical drawings, measurements, specifications, and production instructions.
• Handle and move stone materials safely to prevent damage during processing and storage.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations and processing areas.
• Clean and properly maintain tools, machinery, and equipment used in stone processing.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Minimize material waste through accurate measurement, cutting, grinding, and finishing.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other production workers to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
• Report equipment problems, material defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Perform other stone processing and production duties as assigned.
