Hospital Quality Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, nursing , quality management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare quality management
- Proficiency in additional languages to facilitate communication with diverse patient populations or international stakeholders
- Experience in implementing quality initiatives in diverse healthcare settings such as large hospital community clinics or academic medical centers
- Holding advanced certification in quality management
- Lean six sigma project management or other relevant areas of expertise
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in healthcare quality such as predictive analytic artificial intelligence (AI) tools tele health solution and digital health platforms
- Analytical and problem solving ability
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

PIH is the only hospital in PNG with advanced services like Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Endoscopy Suite and a Minimal Invasive Surgery Suite for Laparoscopic, Cryotherapy, Arthroscopic and Endoscopic facilities including LASER Lithotripsy. PIH is one of the few hospitals in the country equipped with comprehensive Imaging Suite include Digital X-ray, MRI, CT scan, Ultrasound and Mammography , and equipment like 64 Slice CT Angio and state of the art 1.5 Tesla MRI machines.
