Carpenter

Qualifications:

• Male applicants, 24–45 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Carpenter.
• Proven experience in construction, carpentry, installation, repair, or maintenance work.
• Knowledge of basic carpentry methods, materials, measurements, and construction practices.
• Ability to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and related materials accurately.
• Ability to read and follow basic construction drawings, plans, and technical instructions.
• Competent in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and other carpentry equipment.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual construction work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working in various site conditions.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry work for construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other carpentry materials according to specifications.
• Construct and install wooden structures, frameworks, partitions, doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures.
• Read and interpret basic construction drawings, plans, measurements, and work instructions.
• Prepare and assemble wooden components using appropriate carpentry techniques.
• Install, repair, and replace doors, frames, panels, shelves, partitions, and other wooden fixtures.
• Perform formwork and other carpentry-related construction tasks when required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, sanders, and other carpentry equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensure accurate measurements, alignment, level, and proper fitting of completed carpentry work.
• Inspect finished work for quality, durability, appearance, and compliance with project requirements.
• Repair damaged or defective wooden structures and fixtures.
• Select appropriate materials and tools for specific carpentry tasks.
• Properly handle, store, and protect wood, construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, masons, plumbers, electricians, and other construction personnel.
• Follow project schedules and complete assigned carpentry tasks within required timeframes.
• Minimize material waste through accurate measurement, cutting, and proper material handling.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report damaged tools, defective materials, unsafe conditions, and other concerns to supervisors.
• Perform other carpentry, construction, installation, repair, and maintenance duties as assigned.
