LOADING AND UNLOADING WORKER (KITCHEN STAFF)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in loading and unloading, kitchen support, food service operations, or a similar position.
• No minimum educational attainment is required.
• Male applicants are preferred for this position.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading supplies, equipment, and other materials.
• Able to handle kitchen supplies, food ingredients, equipment, and deliveries carefully.
• Knowledge of proper handling, storage, and organization of kitchen materials and supplies is an advantage.
• Able to follow instructions and workplace safety, cleanliness, and hygiene procedures.
• Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload kitchen supplies, food ingredients, equipment, and other delivered materials.
• Receive deliveries, check items against delivery records, and report shortages or damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Transfer and organize supplies in designated storage areas, refrigerators, and kitchen stockrooms.
• Assist kitchen staff in moving ingredients, utensils, equipment, and other necessary materials.
• Arrange and stack supplies properly to maintain an organized and accessible storage area.
• Ensure that food items and kitchen materials are handled carefully and stored according to proper procedures.
• Assist with inventory checks and inform supervisors when supplies are running low.
• Keep loading areas, storage rooms, and assigned workspaces clean and organized.
• Follow workplace safety procedures when lifting, carrying, moving, and handling heavy or bulky items.
• Assist with general kitchen support duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as required by management.
