Telemu No. 16 Limited is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to support building, construction, and facility-related projects in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and ensuring the quality execution of civil engineering works while maintaining compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry requirements.

CIVIL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in building engineering, facilities management, property maintenance, or building operations.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use properties is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, building systems, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical documents.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and project coordination skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering works for building and infrastructure projects.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and assess structural, civil, and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project teams.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Support building maintenance, facility improvement, and renovation projects.
• Identify construction issues and recommend practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure materials, workmanship, and construction activities meet required standards.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Perform other civil engineering duties as assigned by management.
