Tolu Minerals Limited is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to provide structural engineering, design, technical review, construction support, and site engineering services. The successful candidate will be involved in structural steel and reinforced concrete design, engineering calculations, fabrication and construction support, temporary works, and structural systems.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Relevant Engineering Qualification Certificates.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
  • Extensive experience in structural steel design.
  • Proven experience in reinforced concrete design.
  • Strong experience undertaking structural analysis and engineering calculations.
  • Experience providing engineering support during fabrication and construction.
  • Knowledge of temporary works and lifting engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience with precast and structural systems is beneficial.
  • Strong technical review and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good understanding of engineering documentation, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, fabricators, and site personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural engineering design for various project requirements.
  • Develop structural steel designs and engineering solutions.
  • Undertake reinforced concrete design and detailing.
  • Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations.
  • Review structural designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Ensure structural designs comply with applicable engineering standards and project requirements.
  • Provide technical support to project and construction teams.
  • Review engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Identify potential structural issues and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance during project execution.
