Job Vacancy: COPPER WELDER

Accurate Infrastructure Solutions Limited is seeking skilled Copper Welders to support construction and industrial projects in New Zealand. The successful candidates will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and installing copper pipework systems while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Experience in medical gas (Med Gas) installations is highly preferred.
COPPER WELDER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a Copper Welder with verifiable Certificate of Employment (COE).
- Strong hands-on experience in copper welding is essential.
- Experience in medical gas (Med Gas) installations and pipework is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding specifications, and installation plans.
- Knowledge of relevant welding standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Must have IELTS certification or be willing to take and pass the IELTS examination after short-term tutoring.
Responsibilities:
- Perform copper welding, brazing, and fabrication works according to project requirements.
- Install, assemble, and repair copper pipework systems and related components.
- Carry out medical gas (Med Gas) pipework installation and maintenance when required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, welding specifications, and project documents.
- Ensure welding works meet required quality standards and industry specifications.
- Inspect completed welds and identify defects or issues requiring correction.
- Follow approved welding procedures, safety guidelines, and workplace regulations.
- Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform other welding-related duties as assigned by the employer.
