Biomedical Technician

Qualifications:

• Know how to install, repair, and use medical equipment and facilities
• A bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or technology, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a biomedical technician
• Solid technical skills and the ability to repair machinery with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in layman’s terms.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts drawings of medical instrumentation.
• Able to work under minimal supervision and can lead a team
• Can communicate well in English both in writing and verbal, ability to understand & speak Chinese is a big plus
• Ability to source for supplier of medical equipment is an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Install and test run medical equipment to ensure that all equipment meets company standards of safety and quality and compliance with
  relevant laws.
• Maintain and repair medical equipment.
• Conduct routine calibration and safety checks on the medical equipment
• Review the outcome of preventive maintenance activities and make recommendations concerning improvements.
• Provide in-service training or educational programs on the proper and safe use of medical equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support to the internal and external users.
• Maintain organized documentation of equipment, inspection reports, and equipment repairs and failures as well as accurate inventory tracking
  of both addition and disposal of the medical equipment and its parts
• Updating the inventory, placing orders, and verifying deliveries
• Prepare and evaluate warranty and service contract
• Exercising disciplined expense control
• Exercising disciplined expense control Prepare daily and monthly report
