SCHEDULER-PLANNING & PROJECT CONTROL

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in construction and/or engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering background with overall knowledge of electrical and instrumentation works is highly recommended.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and project control methodologies.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining project schedules for construction, industrial, or engineering projects.
• Ability to analyze schedule updates and identify potential project risks and delays.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against approved baseline schedules.
• Analyze schedule updates and identify delays, deviations, and critical path impacts.
• Evaluate project performance and provide recommendations to improve schedule compliance.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and project performance analyses.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and site personnel to gather project data.
• Support project control activities including planning, forecasting, and schedule risk assessment.
• Review project milestones and ensure alignment with contractual requirements and project objectives.
• Identify schedule bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Assist in resource planning and workload forecasting to optimize project execution.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records, reports, and project documentation.
• Present schedule status updates and explain project impacts to the project team and management.
• Ensure planning and scheduling activities comply with company procedures and project requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project planning and control processes.
