Al Sawaid Co. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to support maintenance operations within the beverage, food, or FMCG industry in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery, ensuring efficient equipment performance and minimizing operational downtime.

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Technical Diploma or equivalent certificate required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with KHS and Krones lines.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in mechanical maintenance within the beverage, food, or FMCG industry.
  • Knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Maintain and service KHS and Krones production lines according to operational requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections, adjustments, and equipment checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the installation, modification, and improvement of mechanical systems and machinery.
  • Identify equipment faults and implement effective repair solutions.
  • Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and documentation of completed tasks.
  • Coordinate with production teams to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company maintenance policies.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good working condition.
