SITE SUPERVISOR (MECHANICAL)

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical construction supervision.
• Proven experience supervising large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use construction projects.
• Strong background in HVAC installation, piping works, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, chilled water systems, and mechanical equipment installation.
• HVAC Technician certification or an equivalent trade certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, HVAC layouts, piping schematics, and construction specifications.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installation methods, material standards, workmanship quality requirements, and construction best practices.
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Hands-on experience using mechanical tools, equipment, and installation techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skills.
• High level of discipline, accountability, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple site activities efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical construction activities for large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Manage mechanical construction crews, technicians, and subcontractors performing HVAC installation, ductwork, piping, plumbing, fire protection, drainage, chilled water systems, and other mechanical works.
• Plan site activities, interpret mechanical drawings, and ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, productivity, and compliance with project quality standards.
• Coordinate daily manpower deployment, work schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and promote safe working practices on site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily reports covering manpower, work accomplishments, material usage, and site activities for the Site Engineer.
• Identify and resolve site issues, delays, and quality concerns in coordination with the Site Engineer and project team.
• Monitor the proper use, maintenance, and storage of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
• Verify material and equipment deliveries to ensure correct quantities and quality.
• Assist in equipment installation verification, alignment checks, pressure testing, leak testing, and mechanical system inspections.
• Support quality control activities to ensure all mechanical installations comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment throughout project execution.
