Job Location: Saudi Arabia
Jawdah Cables Factory is seeking an experienced Taping / Rewinding Machine Operator to operate and monitor the Taping / Rewinding 2000 machine used in wire and cable production. The successful applicant will be responsible for machine preparation, material handling, production monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and quality inspection to ensure finished products meet production specifications.
TAPING/REWINDING MACHINE OPERATOR (Taping / Rewinding 2000)
Qualifications:
- Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience.
- Education: At least a High School Graduate.
- Gender Preference: Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience operating taping, rewinding, wire-processing, cable-manufacturing, or similar industrial production machinery is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of machine settings, material handling, and production quality control.
- Ability to identify visible product defects and make appropriate operating adjustments.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing or factory environment and comply with workplace safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the Taping / Rewinding 2000 machine according to production specifications, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Prepare the machine, tools, materials, and production area before starting operations.
- Install and secure material reels and tape according to production orders.
- Set and adjust machine parameters, including operating speed, tape tension, winding direction, and tape overlap.
- Monitor machine performance and production processes to ensure consistent and efficient operation.
- Ensure uniform tape application and proper rewinding of wires and cables.
- Inspect products for loose tape, wrinkles, gaps, uneven winding, and other visible defects.
- Stop the machine and make necessary adjustments when abnormal operating conditions or product defects are detected.
- Perform material changes and splice or reconnect materials when required.
- Conduct basic measurements and quality checks on finished products.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions, material issues, and production irregularities to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the production area.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and proper machine operating practices.
- Record production output, material usage, and quality inspection results as required.
