Jawdah Cables Factory is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Shop Technician to manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain dies and tooling used in production operations. The successful applicant should have experience operating workshop machinery, performing precision machining, inspecting tooling components, and troubleshooting damaged or worn dies to ensure production efficiency and product quality.

DIE SHOP TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience.
• Education: At least a High School Graduate.
• Gender Preference: Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Experience in die manufacturing, tooling maintenance, precision machining, or a similar technical workshop position is an advantage.
• Knowledge of milling machines, lathes, grinders, drills, and other metalworking equipment.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tooling specifications.
• Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain dies and tooling according to technical specifications and production requirements.
• Operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, drilling machines, and other workshop equipment.
• Perform precision grinding, cutting, drilling, fitting, and polishing of die components.
• Inspect die dimensions, clearances, and tolerances using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Diagnose damaged, worn, or malfunctioning dies and determine the appropriate repair procedures.
• Adjust, modify, and improve dies to enhance production performance and maintain product quality.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of dies, tooling, and workshop equipment.
• Sharpen, clean, repair, and replace worn die components when necessary.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and tooling specifications.
• Ensure that repaired or newly manufactured dies meet required dimensional and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of tooling repairs, maintenance activities, and replacement components as required.
• Keep the workshop, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow machine operating procedures, workplace safety rules, and quality control standards.
