HAIRSTYLIST / NAIL CARE SPECIALIST
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Must have proven experience in manicure and pedicure services.
- Must have experience in hair coloring and hairstyling.
- Must have experience as a Nail Art Specialist.
- Knowledge and practical experience in nail art design and application.
- Must have a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or a similar field.
- Experience in both hairstyling and nail care is required.
- Must have simple or basic knowledge of massage techniques.
- Knowledge of proper salon hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and attentive to clients’ needs.
- Professional, courteous, reliable, and hardworking.
- Able to work efficiently in a professional beauty spa environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional manicure and pedicure services according to client preferences and salon standards.
- Perform various nail care treatments, including nail shaping, cuticle care, polishing, and finishing.
- Create and apply nail art designs using appropriate techniques and products.
- Perform basic and customized nail art according to client requests.
- Provide professional hairstyling services, including blow-drying, curling, straightening, and styling.
- Perform hair coloring services, including basic coloring and touch-ups.
- Consult with clients regarding suitable hairstyles, colors, and nail designs.
- Assess clients’ hair and nail conditions before performing treatments.
- Prepare and properly use hair, nail, and beauty products and equipment.
- Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation of tools, equipment, workstations, and treatment areas.
- Follow safe procedures when handling hair coloring products, nail products, and other salon chemicals.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas at all times.
- Provide courteous, friendly, and professional customer service.
- Ensure that clients are comfortable throughout hair and nail treatments.
- Recommend appropriate hair and nail care products when necessary.
- Keep updated with current hairstyling, hair coloring, nail care, and nail art techniques.
- Perform basic massage services as required, using appropriate and safe techniques.
- Follow salon policies, service standards, hygiene procedures, and workplace regulations.
- Monitor supplies and inform management when hair, nail, or beauty products need replenishment.
- Perform other hairstyling, nail care, and beauty-related duties assigned by management.
