Retail Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in retail management or similar supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Sales-driven mindset with strong business acumen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and retail software
  • Familiarity with POS systems and retail analytics tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent may be considered with strong experience

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the retail outlet.
  • Manage, train, and motivate retail staff to achieve performance and sales targets.
  • Set sales goals and implement strategies to improve store performance and profitability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards and promptly resolve customer complaints or issues.
  • Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, cleanliness, and overall visual presentation.
  • Analyze sales reports and performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Handle budgeting, operational expenses, and financial reporting for the retail store.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards within the store environment.
  • Support promotional activities and marketing initiatives to boost sales.
