QC Electrical Pre-Commissioning Inspector
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Saudi Aramco project experience in electrical quality control and pre-commissioning.
- Proven experience as a QC Electrical Pre-Commissioning Inspector on industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing, commissioning procedures, and international electrical standards.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Inspection Requirements, and project specifications.
- Must possess valid SAP and CBT certifications relevant to the position.
- Complete employment requirements, including Certificate of Employment (COE), Diploma, Valid Passport
- Relevant Training and Professional Certificates
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality assurance, and project compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control inspections on electrical systems during the pre-commissioning phase of industrial and construction projects.
- Verify that electrical installations comply with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, approved drawings, and applicable international codes.
- Conduct inspections of cable installations, cable terminations, panels, switchgear, transformers, motors, grounding systems, and electrical equipment.
- Witness and document pre-commissioning tests, including insulation resistance, continuity, loop checks, functional tests, and equipment energization.
- Review inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, and engineering drawings before inspection activities.
- Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, engineering, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
- Verify that corrective actions have been completed before system turnover and commissioning.
- Ensure all inspection activities comply with project quality requirements, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Participate in walk-down inspections, mechanical completion verification, and system handover activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve project quality and commissioning objectives.
