LOCKSMITH-WELDER

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including electrode welding.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with bending, cutting, and assembling metal components.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to welding and cable tray installation.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in various positions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Responsibilities:

• Installs and fabricates cable tray systems, primarily through welding and mechanical work.
• Bending and installing cable routes according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Electrode welding of cable routing brackets and other components.
• Ensuring the cable tray system is structurally sound and properly grounded.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to the cable tray system.
• May involve fabricating cable trays, supports, and other related components.
