CABLE PULLER

Qualifications:

• Cable pulling can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, pull, and carry heavy items
• Basic knowledge of electrical or telecommunications systems, and the ability to use hand tools and potentially specialized equipment

Responsibilities:

• Pulling cables through conduits, trenches, or other pathways, often using specialized tools like winches, cable-jet/blow, or hand tools.
• Measuring, cutting, and terminating cables, potentially including fiber optic and heavy-duty power lines
• Assisting with the supply of materials and equipment needed for the job, and potentially organizing and staging cables
• Ensuring a safe work environment by following safety regulations and protocols, and potentially assisting with tasks like manual handling
