Universal Cold Store Company is seeking an experienced Production Manager (Poultry Processing Plant) to oversee daily production operations, ensure efficient processing activities, and maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality, and productivity. The successful candidate will lead production teams, optimize operational performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Production Manager (Poultry Processing Plant)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Production Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a poultry processing or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in poultry processing plant operations.
• Familiarity with industrial maintenance, poultry production, feed mills, hatcheries, or food processing plant operations.
• Knowledge of food safety systems, production planning, quality control, and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and team management abilities.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily poultry processing plant operations to achieve production targets and customer requirements.
• Manage production schedules, workforce allocation, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Monitor all stages of poultry processing, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Monitor production performance, identify operational issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), workplace safety regulations, and company operational policies.
• Supervise, train, evaluate, and motivate production personnel to maintain high productivity and performance.
• Monitor raw material usage, production yields, waste reduction, and overall operational costs.
• Prepare production reports, performance analyses, and operational documentation for management review.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure production equipment is properly maintained by coordinating preventive maintenance activities with the maintenance department.
• Perform other production management duties assigned by management.
