PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, vocational course, or equivalent; technical or manufacturing-related training is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or other manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Experience operating production machinery is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, and workplace safety.
  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and responsible.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily production and manufacturing of FMCG products.
  • Prepare raw materials, packaging materials, and equipment required for production.
  • Assist machine operators and production workers during manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure products meet quality and production standards.
  • Operate basic production equipment and machinery as instructed.
  • Perform weighing, measuring, mixing, filling, packing, labeling, and other production-related tasks.
  • Conduct basic quality checks and report defects, abnormalities, or production issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of production areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow company procedures for product safety, hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and workplace safety.
  • Assist with inventory checks and proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
  • Record production quantities, materials used, and other required production information.
  • Minimize material wastage and ensure proper handling of products and materials.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning and basic preventive maintenance activities.
  • Follow production schedules and instructions from the Production Supervisor or Manager.
  • Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
